Swedish brand Acne showed its Resort S/S 2012 collection first for the first time in NYC. For once more the concept was great: a huge stage studio transformed into a David lynch - inspired surreal room within a room. The place was crowded, 200 guests from the world of fashion, art and architecture, with Garance Dore, Taylor Tomasi Hill, Tom Guiness and Peter Marino among them.
As for the clothes? Amazing as always.. A joyful colour palette with bright blue and orange, neutrals and printed off-whites with some serious dose of dark blue. And of course, the styling combinations were brilliant, with smart layering of dresses and pants topped with sophisticated eyewear and teased hair.
